From Stabilization
to Transformation:
Serving Nashville’s Unhoused Neighbors
Everyone who enters the door at Community Care Fellowship is treated with dignity and respect. Whether a guest is seeking a shower, a meal, or simply somewhere to rest their head, we meet their basic needs—no questions asked.
One a guest’s basic needs are met, then we build relationships and guide them through transformational programs that target the systemic and cyclical nature of homelessness and poverty.
Stories of Impact
Kim is on staff at Community Care Fellowship as a Resource Navigator. She was also at once a guest experiencing homelessness herself. Her story is one of redemption and second chances as God brought her to CCF and she worked hard to get herself a fresh start, a place to live, and a new beginning.
Big Momma is a team member at Community Care Fellowship. She first came to know CCF when she lived nearby and could see the Cross shining every day on the outside of our building. Now she works with us helping in all kinds of ways from the daily meal preparation, helping with the laundry services, and simply being a light to our guests each and every day. We are thankful for Big Momma.
Michael was living in a homeless camp and lost his eyesight. He heard about CCF from a friend in the camp and came to our Mobile Housing Navigation Center in Bellevue, TN. He is now getting treatment for his eyesight and working his way towards permanent housing.
Josh and Amy were living in difficult circumstances and had their son taken away. When they were able to get into housing, that Community Care Fellowship helped secure at their new High Road location, they were able to get back on their feet, and most importantly, they got their son back. Having a home made all the difference and now they are on their way to getting life back on track.
“CCF fed us, they allowed us to shower, they allowed us to keep clean clothes. Most of all however, they made us a family again. “
“Every situation in my life, I have to give God glory because He allows me to see from the heartbreak and the ups and downs how to look at it positively, look at all the situations in my life in a positive light. Because today it may not work out, but guess what? Tomorrow’s another day.”
“My strength, I guess, is I’m caring. I care. I like to help people. I think I should have been a nurse or a teacher. I’m loving. I’m a good mother. Responsible. Reliable... I had to be selfless, especially when raising a daughter by myself.”
Support CCF
From volunteering to sponsoring events, there are plenty of ways to support the work of Community Care Fellowship. Monetary contributions make life-changing impact as they fuel the growth of our programs and in-kind donations go directly to our guests.
